In 2024, they furthered their expertise by earning an intimacy coordinator certification through Principal Intimacy Professionals. Mags has long been dedicated to creating empowering spaces for performers to hone their skills and support the creative process.

Their journey is supported by a blend of lived experiences and formal education, having studied Women and Gender Studies at the University of Toronto as well as certifications in harm reduction and mental health first aid.
